Abstract

This article aims, starting from an evolutionary dissection of the legal perspectives on the concept of Federalism, as well as its historical applicability in the national context, to demonstrate how external factors of society, more specifically, are having the power to mitigate the traditional centralizing model by through the action of the Federal Supreme Court.
